Dr. Eric Washington knows most patients dislike—ok, let’s face it—hate going to the dentist for fear of pain. Dr. Washington is known for his patience and sense of humor. And his pleasant chair-side demeanor makes even the most anxious patients relax. His goal is to make sure you are comfortable before, during and even after treatment.
Throughout the scope of his dental career, Dr. Washington has focused on providing top quality health care to patients in rural, urban and otherwise underserved communities. His professional career began with a rigorous two-year residency in the dental department and emergency room of Wycoff Heights Medical Center--a large inner-city hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Afterwards, he participated in the National Health Service Corps where he provided dental health care to underserved patient populations in Camden, New Jersey and Eutaw, Alabama. Dr. Washington was also a civilian dentist for the U.S. Navy at a Virginia Beach, Virginia naval base before moving to metro Atlanta in 2002. Dr. Washington earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at Morehouse College. Afterwards, he went on to Howard University College of Dentistry, where he earned his Dental Degree in May 1994.
